CAMP POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Refunds:

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellations should be received in writing three weeks prior to the start of camp. Cancellations that are received after the three week cut off period will be honored if the camper provides documented evidence of non-attendance due to medical injury or illness. Campers who leave camp due to injury or illness will be pro-rated after the non-refundable expenses are paid. All refund requests must be in writing and received by September 1st. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL AFTER AUGUST 15th, THE CONCLUSION OF CAMP SEASON.

Appropriate Behavior:

Campers are expected to adhere to appropriate camp behavior standards. On site directors/coaches will speak to the campers on the first day of camp regarding what behavior is expected of them. Failure to comply with this request will result in dismissal without refund.

Residence Hall/Dormitory Damages & Care of Property:

Campers will be held financially responsible for any damage to the dormitory accommodations. We urge campers to treat EOSC residence halls and complex property with care and respect.

Each resident shall maintain the residence hall in a clean and orderly condition. Moving furniture is prohibited. Trash will be disposed of in the trash cans at all times. This will be checked upon departure.

Meals:

Meals will be provided in the main cafeteria. All food will remain in this area. Food is not permitted in the residence halls. Campers may bring a cooler for personal snacks.

Rights of Others:

Each person residing in the residence halls shall observe and respect the rights of the other residence in the hall. This includes avoiding excessive noise and observing camp curfews. Bullying and the use of fowl language is not tolerated.

Substances:

Smoking is not permitted on campus at any time by any camper. At no time is alcoholic beverages permitted by any camper. The use of any narcotic or illegal substance will result in immediate eviction from camp

Telephone:

Campers are permitted to bring cell phones to use during personal time. EOSC is not responsible for lost or damaged cell phones or other electronics brought on the premises. Verizon cell service is very good around the camp location.

Interdenominational Devotion:

An Interdenominational Devotion will be held during the camp session.

Safety:

Fire fighting, detection, and alarm equipment is provided for the protection of all residents. It is not to be tampered with by campers. Any camper found setting off, abusing, or tampering with any safety system, air conditioning unit, or sewer system will be charged for all damage and will be prosecuted in a court of law. For the protection of all residents, at no time is access to hall roofs or windows ledges permitted.

Insurance:

Campers must provide their own insurance in case of injury.

Emergency Medical Form:

It is understood that my son or daughter will present an emergency medical form from school on or before the day he or she enters camp. Please Note: A copy is sufficient and helps to eliminate the mailing back of originals.

Waiver & Release:

In consideration of my application being accepted, I, intending to be legally bound, do for myself, me heirs, executors, and administrators, waive any and all rights and claims for damage, which I may have or which may hereafter accrue to me against the Eastern Ohio Basketball Camp and/or LAH & Associates, LLC, or their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all damages which may be sustained or suffered by me in connection with my association with or participation in, and for rising out of my travel to and returning from said Eastern Ohio Basketball Camp in Sherrodsville, Ohio.

Marketing/Photo Release:

II hereby expressly grant to Eastern Ohio Sports Complex and its staff the right to photograph my child and use their picture, silhouette and other reproductions of their physical likeness (as the same may appear in any still camera photograph and/or video), in commercial/digital advertising, and/or publicizing of any such commercial/digital video. These right shall be in perpetuity.
